Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 25, 2025

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how WILGUARD uses cookies and similar technologies ('Trackers') to operate, measure, and improve our services. A 'cookie' is a small text file stored in the browser that allows device recognition and retention of preferences.

WILGUARD (the operator) may use both first-party cookies and third-party partner cookies for functionality, analytics, and marketing, under the conditions described below.

2. Legal basis and consent

Strictly necessary trackers:: These cookies are essential for website functionality (e.g.: security, authentication, session management). Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) to provide a safe and functional service. Disabling them in the browser may severely affect website functionality.

Analytics and marketing trackers:: Analytics/performance and marketing cookies are used only with your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can grant or withdraw anytime through our consent management platform.

Typical duration: cookies may remain active for up to 13 months, unless otherwise indicated in the table below or cookie preferences. Upon expiration, they will be automatically deleted.

3. How to manage preferences

Cookie preferences can be managed from the consent banner on first visit and subsequently through the cookie management panel. Alternatively, they can be deleted/blocked from browser settings:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox

  • Microsoft Edge

To opt out of Google Analytics tracking on all sites, you can visit the official Google page.
